Recently completed the design for two medical device clean room production laboratories. The clean rooms are used for the production of sterile glassware kits for medical injectables for patient treatment.
The design provided ISO 8 (class 100,000) and ISO 7 (class 10,000) production clean rooms. Room design included ante rooms, hard plaster ceilings, epoxy flooring, room pressurization and limited access egress. The HVAC design included HEPA supply air filtration, high and low exhaust returns, particle-count and BAS room pressure control. Electrical design included vapor-tight lighting, GFIC circuits, fire alarm and emergency power provisions. Plumbing design included purified water system, along with sinks, hot and cold water supply and distribution and sanitary drainage collection.
